Dr. Ahnee Min-Yau

Dr. Ahnee Min-Yau is a licensed acupuncturist and doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, specializing in women's health and skincare.  She has expertise in anti-aging, facial rejuvenation, acne, and treatments for natural glassy skin! Passionate about  a holistic approach to health and skincare, she always begins a treatment with a consult, making sure she understands your skincare goals.  Her most popular and effective treatments include:  micro-needling, cosmetic acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, red light therapy, and nutrition recommendations.  She is also a holistic health educator and teaches classes on healing therapies like acupuncture, skincare, gua sha, herbal medicine, and the foundations of good skincare.

Dr. Min-Yau received both her Masters and Doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  She is founder and owner of Tao Natural Healing as well as Tao Natural Skincare located in San Francisco.

She also received her Master's in East Asian Studies and International Finance and Business from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, and her BA in Law & Society from UC Santa Barbara.

After losing her mom to breast cancer at a young age and her own personal struggles with fertility, she learned quickly how valuable our health truly is and that we must protect it.  When we wait until after we are diagnosed with a condition to start getting healthy, it can sometimes be too late, as she experienced with her mom's diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer. Furthermore after finding limitations with Western medicine, Dr. Ahnee found herself researching complimentary and holistic medicine for answers that could help improve health and heal diseases naturally.  Through this journey, she believes that 'Chinese medicine found [me]'and that a path was created for her to share her story and help others.

Dr. Ahnee is a wife and mom of 2 young boys, (and their family dog), and lives in Marin.

Treatment Approach
